Inches International was started by two students from the University of Indianapolis, Lyndsay McBride and Lydia Fischer. After traveling to Liberia on a service trip to build a six-classroom school house, they felt inspired to continue the work that was started with the trip. However, the level of need can be intimidating sometimes. That's where the name Inches International comes from. Just because you can't do something big, doesn't mean you can't do something small. Buying a bracelet may not seem like much, but it only takes 20 bracelets to put one kid through one year of school.Wear the bracelets as a reminder that sometimes it's best to work in inches.
The pictures are of the service trip taken from May 22 to June 14 of 2007 that inspired the formation of Inches International.
